A square motif consisting of two colours and a geometric shape is painted on a paper-covered billboard with acrylic paint. Next to this square, a second, identical but incomplete square is painted, the paper support is scratched and torn, revealing the layers underneath. The square motif is taken from a modular vocabulary that enables the infinite expansion of a picture into a pattern.
